Executive Conference Hall at Bahadurgarh Chamber of Commerce & Industries
HSIL, one of the earliest corporate citizen at Bahadurgarh, has extended support to Bahadurgarh Chamber of Commerce & Industries by presenting the association with fully furnished and equipped Conference Hall to conduct its business meetings.This is part of HSIL’s effort to help BCCI professionalize its processes and reinforce HSIL’s commitment to the industrial development of Bahadurgarh.
HSIL dedicates a multipurpose Hall to Employees Federation of Southern India, Chennai
HSIL, through its charity trust – the Krishna Somany Charity Trust, constructed and dedicated a multipurpose convention hall at the Employees Federation of Southern India , Chennai premises.
HSIL is actively involved in social empowerment through education in remote and less developed regions of Rajasthan. Through the Krishna Somany Charity Trust, HSIL runs educational institutes at village Chirawa in Rajasthan.
Sensing the need for safe and reliable drinking water, HSIL built an RO based water purification plant for its nearly 300 strong staff at the HSIL manufacturing unit at Somanypuram, near Hyderabad.

Besides providing for safe drinking water at its manufacturing unit premises, HSIL has ensured safer drinking water for villagers at Laxmidevigudem village near our factory at Somanypuram, Hyderabad.

Aids Awareness

HSIL regularly conducts special HIV & AIDS awareness seminars for its blue-collared workforce across both the manufacturing units at Bahadurgarh and Somanypuram ( Hyderabad). The prime objective of these programs is to spread awareness on safe and hygienic health practices as well as to educate the workers on the devastating health and social implications of HIV.

As a environmentally conscious corporate citizen, HSIL has adapted best practices in the Water Conservation & Waste Recycling to ensure eco-friendly processes at both its manufacturing units – Bahadurgarh ( Haryana) and Somanypuram ( AP). These globally benchmarked mechanisms ensure near-zero wastage of fresh water during the manufacturing process. Moreover, even the waste water eliminated during manufacture is recycled for horticulture applications and usage and thus helps in contributing to a greener campus. Most of the other solid manufacturing waste generated is again treated before being recycled or disposed in an environmentally safe manner.
In 2008, the Krishna Somany Charity Trust sponsored the education and living requirements of a chosen girl child in association with the Rotary Club at Delhi.
Besides, its regular employee friendly practices, HSIL makes a conscious and concerted effort to provide financial aid to employees in times of medical emergency for themselves and their immediate family members.
